The Town Council is a statutory consultee on planning issues affecting the Civil Parish of Whaley Bridge.

Planning applications are discussed at meetings of Full Council. Details of our meetings are shown in the Council Meetings Calendar.

Members of the public are welcome to attend our meetings to give their views on planning matters in the Public Speaking section of the meeting. Pre-booking is not required. Your contribution should not exceed three minutes.

Please remember that it is High Peak Borough Council or the Peak District National Park Authority who decide the outcome, not the Town Council.
